This is a song I learned my freshman year of college, 1961.  I believe it was intended purely as a spoof and was certainly sung only humorously in my circles. I have no idea of the source; if I should acknowledge someone or it is copyrighted please let me know. And of course I may not recall it correctly.

It names three senators. Sen. Gruening (pronounce Greening, and my spelling may be wrong) of Alaska, a liberal Democrat, had a shorter Washington career and was less well known than his colleagues Frank Church and Wayne Morse. Needless to say, none of these were communists and I doubt they'd have liked this song.

"We shall overthrow the government by violence and force"

We shall overthrow the government by violence and force.
We shall make a pleasant country lane where Wall Street runs its course.
We shall shoot all of our Senators but Gruening, Church, and Morse,
When the Red Revolution comes.

Chorus:
Arson, Rape and Bloody Murder,
Arson, Rape and Bloody Murder,
Arson, Rape and Bloody Murder,
When the Red Revolution comes.

We'll expropriate the steel mills without paying recompense.
We'll decapitate, then hang, the Secretary of Defense.
We shall overthrow the government by force and violence,
When the Red Revolution comes.

Chorus

We shall exile all our leaders to an island in the sea
We shall take the profit motive out of our economy
With the state all withered up and gone,
It's then we shall be free,
When the Red Revolution comes.

Chorus
